The What
In the Emmy Award-winning "The Messy Truth in VR" series, Academy Award-winner Brie Larson stars in this VR experience that explores micro-aggressions and harassment in the restaurant industry.
RYOT, in collaboration with Van Jones' Magic Labs, brought this piece to life using the Oculus Quest and custom hand-tracking development.
In this VR experience, the viewer sees through the eyes of a young waitress, Michelle, during her performance review... after a glowing review from the assistant manager (Brie Larson), their boss, Sam, asks the assistant manager to leave and uses the interview time with Michelle as an opportunity to abuse his power.
