Through Verizon’s 5G Innovation Fund with the NFL, RYOT built an AR SDK for a 5G Game Guide in the NFL’s OnePass app, the NFL’s exclusive consumer facing app for Super Bowl 2020.
The Game Guide is designed to improve the in-stadium experience at games and deliver real-time AR filters driven by the NFL’s Next Gen Stats tracked to the field using a novel, proprietary field tracking algorithm.
These AR filters include win probability, contextual data about the top offensive player on the field, and play descriptions immediately following a big play such as touchdowns or turnovers.
