The 2019 United Nations Global Climate Action Summit kicked off with an immersive activation experience across the slats on the United Nations General Assembly Hall -- displaying the devastating impacts climate change is having on the world, but also showcasing the vast opportunities ahead as the world moves towards the green economy, with technological innovation playing the keystone role.
Created through innovative projection mapping technology, this original content delivered a powerful message about the urgency of climate action. Using data visualization, real-world footage and CGI scenes from the climate solution film “2040”, with technology powered by RYOT, the content flooded the walls of the General Assembly Hall and conveyed a realistic picture of a planet in need of change.
The two immersive 4 minute films were developed to reinforce the urgent need for the world to enact change while creating a unique experience to set the tone of the summit for the 193 United Nation delegates.
